Mayday 2023

I had an interesting Mayday, Lucas decided he wanted to make a song and then proved he could do it, he recorded a track accapella, totally surpised me and he enjoyed it. He gave a Jo a hug, that means a massive step forward in our blended family development. The 3 of us went on a bike ride to Ware starting at Hertford and then back. When I got home, I had discovered that I sold a headset, wasn’t expecting that either. I know it doesn’t sound much but these things are important to me.

After a bland and functional dinner, Molly and I went for a long walk through the Chaseside woodland walk and then Trent park, something Molly is suffering from now, I touched her legs this morning and she yelped, bless her. She will rest until tomorrow now.

Into the Darkness!

The front photo is a picture of Rufus stone, Son of William the conqueror and where he died. Not that I am trying to be morbid, I’m not. I drive past that every time I visit my Parents and have only stopped once before and I can’t find the photo I took, so I stopped again last weekend and took this. How many times can I visit Cornwall this year, well so far, I have two booked and paid for, one in the pipeline to run a marathon in September and one to take Molly when everyone else close to me is out of the country, it seems rude not to. I doubt that I can afford it but when has that ever stopped me, it hasn’t and so down th3 the M3 I go.

I really need to write and record more.

Spring is here!

The first weekend of spring and I am clearing out the dust of the remnants of the seasons change. There are still a few particles of excretion floating around, a bit of intelligence bleach will sort that out. The projects are in their infancy and growing, expanding and developing. Work is rubbish, dealing with people who’s mood changes day to day and then smile at me like I have to tolerate it. I am so bored of this and hopeful of the future at the same time. The coming months have an exciting prospect. We shall see how well this page travels.
