Happy Yuletide 2023

A very happy Yule to everyone and thank you for your amazing support in 2023. Have a happy new year on the Georgian calendar and I look forward to sharing with you my adventures (and there will be a few) in 2024.

The most recent Podcast 24th December 2024

Recorded at Grafham water on the 23rd December 2023, on the Eridol audio hand held recorder in the wind walking to the water vent as pictured in the ‘Feature Image’ on the post. Start at 2pm once the I had realised the car park closed at 4pm.

And now we’re back

So after an credibly long break, I am back. It started with losing Molly and not wanted to blog or really having anything to say, then I got used to the loss and then the Dread House took over.

Also I can’t decide if I like this..

as a logo compared to the other more comical one. I think this looks more horror than the other one we’ve had for over two years.

Distractions aside, the things that have changed are as follows;

  • I no longer work for Oasis Hadley or UK
  • I have a job working for the LGBT Network Enfield
  • I am and have spent a large amount of time developing the Dread House
  • I haven’t recorded any podcasts since August and even then I wasn’t please with them
  • I am growing a beard again for Movember

I have spent so much time on the Dread House that is it difficult for me to see the positive impact it has had if any. I can only see the negatives and how it needs to be improved to be taken seriously. We are in he process of writing a film and I am worried it will end up a joke like all of the previous ones. It is easy to make a film and edit it, but, really difficult to make a serious one and have it taken seriously. I am however pleased that I am back on here writing and who knows, I may even record a podcast to go with it.

I wanted to use the cover photo because it was the last sunset Molly saw and it gave me a sense of hope and promise not just because I thought she was getting better but also, because I thought my situation was improving, I don’t feel like that currently.
